VONDRŮ, Jaroslav
As a topic of my bachelor thesis I chose "Kinesiotherapeutic intervention focused on patients with Bechterew's disease". I chose this topic, because of interest and deeper knowledge of extensive problems in category: degenerative diseases of the spine. Ankylosing spondylitis, as the disease is technically called, is relatively abundant in the population and for this reason it is in my interest to contribute, at least in part, to the sorting and definition of key informations related to this rheumatic disease. In the theoretical part of this work, I focus on basic knowledge about anatomical structures related to pathophysiology of this disease. Whereas this extensive industry includes bones, muscles and fascial systems. Further I describe basic characteristics of Bechterew's disease, diagnostic criteria, clinical course and possibilities of rehabilitation or pharmacological therapy. In the practical part I deal with qualitative research activity, which focuses on a group of three patients. At the very beginning, I describe the necessary obtaining of information in the form of medical history, anthropometry and orientation examination of mobility or muscle strength. The main goal was to create an effective therapeutic program, which consists of a combination of elements of several selected rehabilitation methodologies and active, regular kinesiotherapeutic intervention within the spa concept. Information about the performed therapy, used methodologies and procedures, I present in detail in the form of elaboration of several case studies. At the end of each of them, I wrote a summary output of therapy, which includes an evaluation of the therapeutic intervention. This work can be available to the professional public, physiotherapists, available physiotherapy students to gain a basic awareness of Bechterew's disease, its pathology and possible physiotherapeutic methods.

Importance of the ?Revma liga pro nemocné? association. This bachelor thesis is styled the Importance of the Revma liga pro nemocné (Rheumatological League for the ill) association. The first half of its theoretic part defines rheumatology and describes two ailments with the highest incidence among members of the RL association ? rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. The focus of the second half of the theoretic part is on the RL association, its history, structure and sphere of activities in the Czech Republic. The empiric part of the thesis concentrated on accomplishing the aims. These comprised noting the importance of the RL association for patients suffering from rheumatism and disclosing the benefits the RL association membership brings to such patients. Qualitative investigation was used to collect the necessary data and accomplish the aims. The method used in research investigation was the non-standardized interview method. The research sample included eight members of the RL association. Four respondents attend the Prague and the České Budějovice branches, respectively. The research investigation revealed that the RL association plays an important role in the lives of its members and is of great importance for them and they feel that way themselves. The members report psychological support, rehabilitation and useful information sharing as the most considerable benefits of their membership in the RL association. According to the members, the RL association helps them most by providing them with sufficient information about aids, surgeries, treatment and benefits that render their everyday lives more convenient. Membership in the RL association was found to bring joy, help, support and new friends to its members.
